Snow Lakes

We hiked up to Snow Lakes just outside of Leavonworth, Washington. Had to wait outside the Ranger Station to obtain a permit. Luckily no one else arrived. It took us about 5 hours to hike up to the lakes. It is a grueling 6.5 mile hike with 3,800 feet of elevation gain. Had one side of the lake all to ourselves. However there was an VERY loud group on the other side which made it feel as though they were camping right next to us. Other than that (and the sore muscles for a few days), the hike was well worth the effort.
